A vendor profile has a few numbers that matter, and they mean different things than they look like. The order count tells you volume, not quality. A vendor with ten thousand orders and a clean record is a different thing from a vendor with ten thousand orders and a dispute ratio that climbs as you read it. The dispute ratio is the number to read, and it is the one that predicts what happens when something goes wrong.
The other thing to read is whether the vendor finalizes early. A vendor who finalizes early has released your coins before you confirmed delivery, which is a shortcut for them and a weaker position for you. A vendor who waits for your confirmation is giving you the full protection of escrow. The difference is not visible in the price, and it is the difference that matters when the order does not arrive as promised.
