The Pattern Every Exit Scam Follows

An exit scam has a shape, and the first sign is almost always the same: the shop starts to be slower about withdrawals than it was about deposits. Deposits are the easy direction, because the coins are coming in. Withdrawals are the direction that requires the operator to act, and when the operator starts to need a reason not to act, the reason is usually that the money is about to stop being there.

The tells that show up before the exit are small and easy to miss. Withdrawal times that stretch from days to weeks. A support team that answers questions but not requests. A market that is suddenly very good at explaining why things are slow without actually fixing them. None of these is proof, and all of them together are, which is why the habit of not leaving a balance sitting is the only protection that works in time.
